Elizabeth was a lovely baby born to Patsy and Charley Gunn. She was very active as a child and was a delight to all that knew her. She joined Tabernacle Baptist Church at  an early age and worked diligntly in all youth programs of the church.  She played the piano for Tabernacle Sunday School , Ludden Chapel Church and St. John Church.


As a youth , she attended Monroe Colored High and after graduation, she attended Southern University in Baton  Rouge , Louisiana. Upon her college graduation , she was employed at Webster High School in Minden, Louisiana She retired from Webster, after 40 years of service.
