Oh! Oh! how it saddens my heart to know that you are gone. During your lifetime your presence was an inspiration and your good deeds were a motivation. Where do I start? your motherly role, prayerful, wisdom talk, impeccable advise, your generosity towards everyone around you, caring, loving, no dull moment with you, always joyful, brightening and lightening up every situation and circumstance.
Grandma, Mummy, you're going to be fondly missed. Rest peacefully in the bosom of your maker.

It was so easy to call you 'Mummy', even from the very 1st day I met you some 7 or 8 years ago. You shared life experiences with me without holding back. It felt like you were the friend. You prayed for me each time I met with you so wholeheartedly and fondly called me 'Iya Ibeji awon girls' - Bukunola is 'Iya Ibeji awon boys' I will hold dear to heart the last discussion you had with Bukunola and I last November....they were golden...
All of Bukunola's friends were your children..
You shall forever remain dear in our hearts. Adieu sweet Mummy. Rest in the blossom of your Maker.

TRIBUTES TO A DEAR SISTER FROM ANOTHER WOMB (CHIEF MRS ELIZABETH FATUNBI) IYALỌJA IKEREKU IDAN AND OSI MOJIBADE OF GBAGURA.

The last past weeks has been one of the saddest period of my life, hence I have found it so hard to accept your demise. Iyalọja, you are irreplaceable to me and my husband, a sister, friend and a pillar of support. Iyalọja, I have lost count of how many times, my calls for help has taken you out of your comfort zone, because you were a very kind soul, a humanist, a God fearing, straight forward, down to earth, dependable and kind woman. Iyalọja, the vacuum, your passing has created shall remain with me for the rest of my life. You are irreplaceable, I’m sure, those other people’s life you have touched will agree with me. You are irreplaceable like other heroine before you, your good deeds and your memories shall live for ever. May your creator, the Almighty God grant your aged mother, siblings, your children, grandchildren, husband and friends the strength and support needed to bear your loss and take good care of them. Sleep well my darling sister, till we meet again. Chief (Mrs) Elizabeth Oluremi Kehinde Akintoye (Erelu Ọdọfin Ẹgba)

A true mother indeed. I cannot forget the warm embrace you gave me the first day I met you in church, the memory lingers still. You were so full of love mama that anyone around you can feel your motherly touch.
I always see sis Sade as being blessed having a sweet and vibrant mama like you. How can I forget those broad smiles and beautiful dance steps you exhibit during praise time. Even though the pain run deep but we know that Heaven indeed has received a beautiful soul. We love you grandma and we pray for strength for your family and loved ones. Sleep on mama

We lost a gem! A mother, a good wife and a community leader - the Iyaloja of Ikereku Idan of which my wife is the Otun Iyaloja. My family and I will forever remember the immense contribution and support you gave to us during my daughter's wedding in 2017. You and your husband Balogun Fatunmbi were with us all through. The love and affection that you radiated, your beautiful smiles, your words of wisdom and encouragement were unmistakable and unforgettable. The day my wife, your Otun Chief Mrs. Mopelola Oganla and I visited you at home when you returned from the hospital we were hopeful that the worst was over, we never knew that your hand wave to us was the last good bye we would hear free you. Good night our wife, mother and my co-chief of Ikereku Idan. We shall greatly miss you. Rest in the bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ. GOOD NIGHT.

Your death came so sudden,we never knew we could loose such a vibrant, energetic mother so soon. The little time I knew you, I learnt a lot from you as a mother. Very accommodating, caring and you also teach me how to take care of husband. I remember then when we come around from school you always shower is with love without knowing our family. We will miss you greatly but I have assurance you have gone to meet with your maker. Keep resting in the bosom of our Lord. We love you but God love you more.

Desire

Do Not Stand At My Grave and WeepBy Mary Elizabeth Frye

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.

Bonds

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free!

Miss me a little – but not for long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me, but let me go.

For this journey that we all must take
And each must go alone;
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me, but let me go.
