Mrs. Elizabeth “Nip’ Fears Walker was born February 21, 1948 to the parentage of the late Mr. Willie Pete, Sr., and Mrs. Eddie Ruth Fears in Troup County, GA. She departed this life on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the EAMC-Lanier, Valley, AL.

 

“Nip”, accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and united with the St. John Community Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. H.J. Lilly. She served as an usher.

 

Elizabeth received her education in the West Point Public School System. She was employed with West Point Stevens for many years until failing health.

 

“Nip” was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Walker; two sisters, Theresa Cook, Beverly Jackson; two brothers, Robert Lee Fears and Willie Pete Fears, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, James (Margo) Fears, LaGrange, GA; Terrance Lewis Walker, West Point, GA; one sisters, Eddie Mae (George) Williams, West Point, GA; one brother, Richard Fears, Valley, AL; two aunts, Julia (Cecil) Rushston, Doris(Robert) Robinson, Buffalo, NY; two uncles, Norman Fears, Buffalo, NY, Bennie Lee(Nell) Fears, Anniston, AL; 10 grandchildren ; a niece that was like a sister, Angela(John) Reed, Atlanta, GA; special friends, Lee Lee Zachery, Tammie Hall, Tarsha Billingslea; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
