Elizabeth Whatley was born July 8, 1925 to the late Mr. Adie  Williams and Phenia Williams in Coosa County, Alabama.   

Ms. Elizabeth Whatley joined Goodgrove Baptist Church in  Equality, Alabama at an early age. Her life became a living testimony  and she tried to share it with everyone she came in contact with.   

On November 28,2014, Ms. Elizabeth heard the calling and  she answered.    She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, daughter,  Alice Stephenson of Alexander City, Alabama; son, Leon Williams  (Dia Ann) of Alexander City, Alabama; grandchildren and great­ grandchildren; two brothers, John and Robert Williams of Los An­ geles, California; one sister-in-law, Ms. Louise Williams of  Alexander City, Alabama. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and  friends.
