Mrs. Wright was born September 22, 1930 in Carroll County, GA to the late Buford Smith Sanders and Eucal Ruth Hester. She was a long time member of New Springs Congregational Methodist Church. She retired after more than 30 years of service from Baby Cloze, where she worked as a supervisor. Miss Ella Mae enjoyed the company of family and friends, who relished her home cooking, especially her fried chicken and fried pies. She enjoyed a good conversation, and never met a stranger. She loved to talk about anything, but especially her family. She was very proud of all of her descendants and their accomplishments.

Survivors include: one daughter, Sandra Lloyd; three grandchildren: Kimberly Sims, Michelle Lloyd, and Kevin Lloyd; five great-grandchildren: Drew Walston, Isaiah Lloyd, Harlee Lloyd, Hunter Sims, and Anna Sims; one great-great-grandchild, Olivia Walston; one brother, Wayne Sanders; one brother-in-law, Watson Adams; and a number of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hollice Wortham Wright; one son, Danny Wright; one son-in-law, Roy Lee Lloyd, one sister, Sara Adams; one brother, Lewis Sanders; and one sister-in-law, Sara Sanders.
