Many years ago a very kind Southern Gentleman with a reassuring hand shake and warm smile welcomed me into his immediate family and treated me like a brother or someone he had known all his life! From that time on he has been my friend! It is my Prayer that God will direct my Path,so I can meet Ellis and his Bud Hal in Heaven someday!I know they will be there;and I just need to follow their great examples and join them when that day comes!I/we loved that Man,the big Texas Longhorn Fan!

My wonderful, beloved Cousin, I miss you still and think of you often. I guess so much love and fun could not last forever. Be sure to look for my little family as both Robert and Jason have recently arrived there.
Robert too was only 67. Jason was 40. I'm still trying to stand up, alive alone. Just in the last couple of months grandson, Gage, age 6 has begun to resemble you. He looks like you as a kid. Thinking of you on your birthday.
Love you and yours, Becky.

This is such a good idea, I enjoyed looking at the wonderful pictures and so many memories are flooding back. Ellis was so talented and wonderful. Even though we did not see Ellis often as we are in the East, I do remember the time he and John took Hoppy boating, both fell out and there was Hoppy alone. Your cabin is great. Caroline, I think of you often and do hope you are getting along with life. You have had difficult times. Love

I just saw the online obituary for Ellis. He was a great colleague in the engineering field and will be missed. My condolences to the family as you approach the one year anniversary of his passing. I met Ellis through my work at NASA in the 1990's and appreciated him very much.

Caroline, my heart is with you today, as I know yours is heavy as you put Ellis to rest, remembering your life together and today, his birthday. He will be missed, clearly, but I hope he will remain alive with you and yours, and in that way I can continue to learn more about him.  Love, Ruth

To the Morgan family; yes you will miss Ellis, but so will I, and many others! I can’t describe in words how Ellis touched me, although I feel you already know! I believe I know where Ellis is today! I can only live my life similarly to hiss and hope and pray to someday meet him there in heaven! I can see him cooking his brisket’s (and me supervising him), Ellis running in his all day gear (and me

I have so many wonderful memories with the Morgan family growing up. From cooking burgers by the pool to taking us tubing on the lake, Ellis treated me like a second daughter - incredibly patient, kind, and always with a smile on his face. A truly great dad, neighbor, and person.

Hearing of Ellis' passing was a shock to my whole family. Ellis is my mother's first cousin, and although we didn't get to visit often, as we all live in Tenness, we will miss Ellis. He was one of our relatives to whom family was important enough to reach across the miles and keep in touch. He also was pivotal in preserving our heritage with visits to Tennessee, photos, and old films.

Beautiful photos of a lovely and loving family. Lots of memories to cherish of a man who will be sorely missed by family and friends. My heart goes out to you, Caroline, katie & Ellis because I know how your hearts must be aching. I will be out of town on the day of the memorial and am sad that I will miss it, but will try to come by for the reception if I am able to return in time.

Life does not seem the same without Ellis, such an adventurer, caring person and what a wonderful couple. Loved those pictures of your wedding - that seems only like yesterday. Life goes so very fast and it was a joy to be with Ellis, memories to cherish. With love, Liz Hopwood and family

Forever King

July 19, 2012

This was taken on Aug 24, 1988, Dad's 44th birthday. The faces are priceless of all of us. Ellis too cool for school, Danny with his mouth wide open, me acting coy...and Dad showing the face of a father of three.

We are so blessed to have had such an amazing father. He will always be the "King" to us.

This is Ellis Frank and me holding our squirmy kids. Clearly we were
each tired of our own kids and had traded babies.  I got the easier
