Lord Jesus, thank you for my sister Elma. She was Your lantern and shined Your light wherever she was. Elma was a vessel of Your love and embraced people with genuine care. Elma was salty and full of Your flavor, Christ, giving a pleasant savor to conversations and interactions. Truly the Jesus in Elma and the Jesus in me was so easy to love . . . and forever. Amen

To The Pugh Family, Sister Elma had a sweet, sweet spirit and will be missed by the many lives she touched. May you remember her as we will, always smiling and ready to give a big hug. I will remember her as my duet partner in the Senior Choir, Lucius will remember her for her services to the finance committee. May God give you the strength to carry on in her footsteps. Maxie & Lucius Fleming

I am devastated at the loss of a dear, sweet friend. She was a most kind and gracious person, always willing to help and humble to the nth degree. She was definitely "one of a kind."

Elma, our workplace is filled with precious memories of you. Everywhere I turn I am reminded of your presence.  Evidence of your handiwork is around every corner.  How I miss the confidences shared, the laughs, the teamwork, the outings and of course, the granola bars which you never failed to supply me with.  I so look forward to seeing you again and visiting your beautiful mansion, because I know yours is so much bigger than most. You always put yourself last and it is written, "The last shall be first."

Dear Friend, I shall cherish the memories until we meet again!
