On Sunday May 3rd, 2020, Elmer Allen Maggart (aka Red/ Roho), loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great-grandfather, passed away at home at the age of 88. Elmer was born November 11th, 1931in Sparta, TN to the late George and Lector (Henry) Maggart. He served as an airplane mechanic in the USAF 1952-1956. Also a long time truck driver and member of Teamster local union #413. He was the youngest of 11 siblings that have all preceded him in death. He is survived by son, George (Joyce) Maggart of Ft. Worth, TX and daughter, Linda Maggart of West Milton; as well as many family and extended family who lovingly knew him by many names, including... Roe, Papaw, Peepaw, Papaw Texas, & Uncle Elmer.
Memorial service to be determined at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice of Darke County.
