I, Eloise Josephine Berry, was born April 7, 1930 to the parents of Andrew and Annie Bell Moon Lauderdale the sixth child ofAndrew and seventh ofAnnie Bell Lauderdale.

I attended the Bunker Hill Elementary School in Clay County. The Ashland Jr. High and in May 13, 1949, graduated from the Clay City High School in Lineville, AL. 1942, I made Jesus my choice at the Old Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. L.W. Owen.

I worked for the Fosters ofAshland, AL and then Dixie Cafe in Sylacauga, AL. Under the training of Mr. Walter Kirkland and Mrs. Goody who trained me well.

In 61, I worked for my brother, Willie D in Gadsden, AL. On the eve of 1962,I went to East Meadow, New York where I was employed by the Symrots for 3 years. I retired for A Holly Patterson home for 15 years. I952I marriedArthur Baker Junior who drowned August 1955. Manied the love of my life, Troy H. Berry. February 19, 1968. I became the Secretary of the Early Rose District Convention untll 1962 and resigned in 1962 because had moved to New York. Joined the South Hempstead Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. W,C. Evans. Whom trained me to be Superintendent of the Sunday School a great experience. Sang in the Senior Choir and was the directress of the Senior choir. ln 1999,I returned home to take care of my oldest sister.

June 13, 1999 I returned to my home church where I taught the Jr. Class under the leadership of Apostle Thomas Bullock.

To my little sister, Olivia, I've loved you with all of my heart. My nieces and nephews, there was never enough I could do for you.
