Mrs. Elorzie Bush of Heidenhimer,TX formerly of Alexander City, Alabama died October 12, 2011.

Elorzie Bush was born August 30, 1915, to the late Jim and Mather Benson Russell in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.
Sister Bush was a member of Ridge Grove Baptist Church in Alexander City, Alabama, serving as Usher and President of the Mission.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Berniece Bush in 1947. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She worked for Avondale Mills for thirty years.
Mrs. Elorzie Rusell Bush departed this life on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, in Temple, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berniece Bush, one great-grandson, one brother, and seven sisters.
Left to cherish her memories are: one daughter, Catherine Russell Jackson (Rufus “Ben" Jackson, Sr.) of Heidenheimer, Texas; one brother, Forse Russell (Annie Pearl) of Akron, Ohio; four grandchildren, Gloria Jackson of Alexander City, Alabama, Nellie Billingsley of Temple, Texas, Rufus “Sugarman" Jackson Jr. of Waco, Texas, and Raymond “Poochie" Jackson of Alexander City, Alabama; nine great-grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren, twelve great-great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Elorzie Bush will be Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at Great Bethel Baptist Church. Burial Will follow at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery.
