Dear Mrs. Anga, I only became aware of your passing yesterday while reminscing with fellow old girls of Our Lady of Apostles Girls Secondary School (OLA) - the school to which you devoted over twenty years of enviable service.
 
Those of us who knew you knew that you stood for what is right. You did your utmost best to mold us into the decent citizens, mothers and wives we have thankfully become. It is almost impossible for anyone to recount the history of OLA without special reference to your laudable contributions over the years. I actually remember a powerful speech you gave approximately 30 years ago when some of us let you down. You called us scallywags then (Smile). But of course we knew that you didn't really mean it. You were simply mad at us at the time. And quite rightly so too.
 
I also remember my late mother taking an instant likeness to you when she met you during my time at OLA in the 1980's. And that wasn't because you both shared ancestral roots in Lagos. It was more to do with your integrity and sincerity of purpose with respect of your hopes for us.
 
Mrs. Anga, you are a gem to our alma mater, and while we will always remember you with love and fondness, we will miss you sorely too.  I pray that the Almighty father grants you peace and security in your present abode (Amen). I also pray that your family isn't left bereft of your love and kindness (Amen).
 
You shall not grow old, like we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary you nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we shall remember you.
