Elvin Bryant “E.B.” Wilkins Jr., 85, a resident of 3525 Tump Wilkins Road, Stem, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC.
A native of Granville County, the son of the late Elvin Bryant and Rosa Ferrell Wilkins. He was a member of Tally Ho 1st Baptist Church, a lifetime
Farmer and a former supervisor at No Nonsense in Creedmoor, NC.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Tally Ho 1st Baptist Church in Stem by Rev. Robert Oliver. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem, NC.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Mamie Paschall Wilkins of the home, a son, Dale Wilkins (Diane) of Danville, Va., a daughter Michelle Wilkins Willis of Stem, a sister, Louise Saunders of San Antonio, Texas, five grandchildren, Richard Simmons, Christie Jeffries, Jeffrey Canada, Joel Canada (Maria) and Stephen Willis and five great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jeffries, Kuper Simmons, Chloe Simmons, Madi Simmons and Aubrey Canada. He was predeceased by a grandson, Justin Simmons.
Visitation will be held 7:00- 8:30 PM, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor, NC and other times at the home.

Mamie, Michelle, Dale...my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time...went by the grave today..pretty flowers..alot you can preserve..am limit to what I can do but will be there for you if you need me..My Parents and Robbin send their regards....love gene
