Judge Emerson W. Thompson 93, of Lanett, Alabama died May 18, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 21, 2016 at 11 AM (CT) at the Fredonia Methodist Church with entombment in his mausoleum at the church cemetery, with Paul Metler and Jim Green officiating.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10AM (CT) until 11 AM (CT) at the church prior to the service.

We are saddened to hear of Mr. Thompson passing. He was a sweet
and kind man. My husband was his chiropractor several years back,
We had visited him at his home after Mrs. Thompson had died, and
he really missed her, now he is with her in a better place.

Judge Emerson was a great man. He married me and my husband Jesse in 1984. He will be missed. Everytime we was at the Chambers County Courthouse and saw him. We would enjoy talking with him. He is at home with Jesus now. may the lord continue to watch over his family and May he rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers to his family at this time.
