Her Life

Sister Cox was the daughter of the late Ada Lou and Lovett Lize, born October 16, 1928 in Fulton County.  

Very early in life she joined Macedonia Baptist Church, her family church.  Later she moved her membership to Clark Chapel United Methodist Church.  

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Charlie Cox, Jr., a faithful marriage for fifty years and to this union eleven children were born, four precede her in death.

  In 1974 she studied the Jehovah Witness under Sister Norma Tucker.  

She leaves to mourn, her children:  Mary Burth, Willie Charles Cox, Cora Lee Cox, Arthur Crawford (Patricia) Cox, Lydia Ann Cox, Donald Cox and Wayne Eddie Cox; one sister, Pearl Lee Hayes of East Point; brother-in-law, Robert Tigner of Luthersville; fifty-six grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces nephews, relatives and friends.
