Mrs. Myers is survived by her two daughters and two son-in-laws; Ellen & MichaelMelnick of Opelika, AL and Sally & Mark Ragsdale of Spartanburg, SC and five grandchildren; Brandon Melnick, Jennie Melnick, Blake (Micah)Melnick, Michelle Ragsdale, and Haley Ragsdale. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren; Anderson Melnick, Maggie Melnick, Carter Sistrunk, and Mason Sistrunk.

Born Thursday, September 30, 1926, in Troup County, Mrs. Myers was the daughter of Ethel Haralson Anderson and C.W. Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Newton Myers and her siblings; Ben Anderson, Scott Smallwood, Frances Arnett, Ethel Williamson, Anne Powell, & Charles Anderson.

Mrs. Myers retired from the Valley Health Department after 25 years of service. She was an active member of the West Point Women’s Club & West Point Garden Club. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of West Point.
