Emmalee loved wearing fluffy boots.  she came home from grandma and grandpa's one day and she had  rubber rainboots.  they told us she fought for those boots!!!  She got a pair of brown fluffy boots for winter once, and wore those all the time, even in the summer time.  her last birthday she got a pair of purple fluffy boots with cute bows on the backs of them.  once again, she wore them all the time.  she even wore them when Caleb's school had water day.  there she was in her swimsuit and those  purple fluffy boots.  I still have those purple boots in her treasure chest with the rest of her memories.

Emmalee Rose was all pink and purple, girlie and pretty but when she would arrive at Mimi's farm in the country she would run directly to the big sand pile by the house and start digging and throwing sand up in the air. It would land all over her and her hair. She loved playing with the chickens and couldn't wait to sit on the pony, Lively, for a ride around the yard. Anything the boys could do she could do better, faster and quicker! She was a pro at croquet, badminton and follow the leader. Emmalee loved to roll down the hill outside the front door along with her beloved brother, Caleb. She knew that it was okay to get really dirty at Mimi's farm because when Mimi would scoop her up she would take her into her kitchen and put her in the big farm sink for a bath! There would be bubbles galore and a big, soft and fluffy towel for her to get all wrapped up and warm and dry. Mimi would tell fairy stories to Emmalee and Caleb for hours and hours and there was nothing Emmalee liked better than to get her swimsuit on and go for a long plunge in Mimi's hottub. There are no words to express how much Mimi misses her sweet baby girl. "I am not sad you went to heaven, I am sad I will not have you in my life."  Until we meet again on Heaven's bright and shining shore, my love will never fade.  Love you, Mimi
