Today, as we mark 10 years since your departure, my heart is filled with both sorrow and gratitude. Sorrow for the loss that still lingers, but gratitude for the precious moments we shared and the lasting impact you had on my life.

You were a pillar of calmness, bringing a sense of peace to every situation. Your gentle demeanor and reassuring presence gave us comfort during life's storms. It was your unwavering strength that held our family together, just like you held me in your arms.

Family meant everything to you, and your love for our daughters was boundless. You adored them with a passion that was unmatched. You were their hero, just as your own mother was yours. The love and respect you had for her served as a beautiful example of the values you instilled in our family.

Your intelligence was extraordinary, and your command of the English language,
Not only were you intellectually gifted, but you were also blessed with striking handsomeness. Your captivating smile and kind eyes could light up any room. But it was your inner beauty, your genuine love and compassion for others, that truly made you shine.

Your faith in God was unwavering. You found solace in the pages of the Bible, and your devotion to prayer was an inspiration to us all. Your spirituality guided you through life's challenges and brought you closer to the divine. You taught us the importance of faith and the power of a deep and abiding relationship with God.

You were my rock, my confidant, and my best friend. You supported me in every endeavor, including my English studies, which led to the A's I achieved in my English class. Your belief in me fueled my determination and gave me the strength to overcome any obstacles.

The joy you brought into our lives was immeasurable. Your infectious laughter and playful spirit created countless cherished memories. Our time together was filled with love, laughter, and a deep sense of connection. The void you left behind is vast, but the love we shared will forever be etched in my heart.

Today, as we honor your memory, I find solace in knowing that you are in a better place, watching over us with love and pride. Your legacy lives on through our daughters, who carry your kindness, intelligence, and love for God within them.

Through the pain of your absence will never fully fade, I will forever be grateful for the time we had together. Your love transformed my life, and I am a better person because of you. Until we meet again, I will hold you close in my heart, cherishing the memories we made and finding strength in the love we shared.

On this special day, as I remember the day you came into this world, I celebrate the beautiful soul that was my loving husband. It has been ten years since you left this earthly realm, but your presence is still felt strongly in my heart and in the hearts of all who knew you.

You possessed an amazing personality that radiated warmth and kindness. Your infectious smile could light up any room and bring joy to even the darkest of days. You had a way of making everyone around you feel seen and valued, and your genuine care for others touched the lives of many.

Your wisdom and intelligence were unparalleled. You had a thirst for knowledge and a curiosity that knew no bounds. You approached life with an open mind, always eager to learn and grow. Your intellect was matched only by your humility, and you never hesitated to share your wisdom with those who sought it.

One of the most remarkable aspects of your character was your unwavering faith and love for God. Your spirituality was the guiding force in your life, and it shone through in every word and action. You lived by the principles of compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude, and you inspired others to do the same.

Family was at the center of your world. You cherished the bond we shared and nurtured it with tenderness and devotion. Your love for our children knew no bounds, and you taught them the importance of love, respect, and the value of strong family ties. Your legacy lives on in their hearts and in the way they carry themselves through life.

Your connection to nature was profound. You found solace and peace in the great outdoors, and you taught me to appreciate the beauty and wonder of the world around us. Whether it was a simple walk in the park or a grand adventure in the wilderness, you reveled in the majesty of nature and reminded us all of its importance.

Your love for people was genuine and boundless. You saw the good in everyone you met and treated them with kindness and empathy. You had a way of making others feel heard and understood, and your ability to connect on a deep level was a gift that few possess. Your impact on the lives of those you encountered will forever be cherished.

Today, as I honor your memory and celebrate the life you lived, I am grateful for the time we had together. Though you may be physically absent, your spirit continues to guide me, bringing me strength, love, and inspiration. You will forever hold a special place in my heart, and your legacy will live on through the memories we shared and the love we continue to carry.

Happy birthday, dear yeyeye Your light will forever shine brightly.

i want to choose life and meaning over death and tragedy,so i will focus on finding joy in the mundane and profound, joy in the small things that makes my children smile, joy in the moments of friendship that might otherwise pass unnoticed, joy in the ability to appreciate the gift of life in a way i never did before.Today my family mourn that you were taken from us so suddenly and so young,it has been 104 weeks, grappling moment to moment and day to day with often overwhelming void that your death has left in our lives.
Adeyemi we miss you,we love you more than words could say, even in death you continue to inspire me,encourage me, the hardest thing is not talking to someone you use to talk to everyday.
Rest easy my love

My brother,my friend and coworker in body of Christ, your demise broke my heart because that wasn't we agreed before you left Nigeria we but saw a potential pastor who will preach the gospel of christ like my and your mentor late Pastor Ina Omakwu, you weren't afraid of the future and now the future is secured with Christ, you had much of the word of God that the world didn't have the privilege to hear. I will forever cherish our short but profound time together till we meet to part no more but aren't joining so soon greet Pastor Ina and Apostle Paul, and remember to ask some of those questions we couldn't got answer to from the Bible. Ha........The news hit me like a thunderbolt as l was still mourning my mum's death.Immediately the shock of your's assumed a far greater dimension.lt is beyond my comprehension. Two days before your death, you were consoling me with so much passion out of sincere concern. You were such a gentle and God fearing soul.Indeed the fate and destiny of man is in God's hand.As the heavenly hosts take you home, may the Alpha and Omega build a hedge of fire around your wife and children.............Rest  In  Peace!!!

In the arms of sweet deliverer you laid your heavy burden down and with our Lord above. When at last your travelling days were done, you started your eternal rest somewhere beyond,in the bosom of Christ. How come a perfect tree doesn't stay long in the forest?Ironically,Yemi......(Alleno)as l used to call u, you were consoling my wife of her mother's
demise,on 12/01/2014 with your usual Biblical allusion.A rare breed of exemplary being of finest humane qualities gone too soon.Joyfully, you surrendered your existence to our Lord Jesus in the course of the rough and coarse journey of your life. Our friendship remains evergreen in my memory because of indelible prints you left-it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.May your soul rest in peace.

Hey brother!
Yemi u were not just a friend to me, we were even more than brothers, I just don't know the word for it. We had laughed together, dined together, starved together and even breath back to each other. We lived together like two unbreakable brothers, wherever I was u were never 5feets away. We studied together, failed together and then succeeded together. Yemi u know its a lot to tell, but I will just keep the rest in my memory. The pain of your demise hurts so bad, very bad I cant stop thinking about it every second after I heard the news. Another thing is that I realy wanna be there to pay you my last respect but I am financially incapable. Yemi I know where you are; you can see everything even inside my heart. I realy wanted to come, now it hurts even more that I could not make it to your funeral. Pls forgive me.
Yemi if nothing I know I owe this to u, I will always keep ur family in my prayers, and I will continue to check on them to make sure they doing good. Rest in peace homie. Till we meet to part no more.

A poem to a loved one - Yemi Allen

January 18, 2014

Lively...

like the warmth that leaps leverage from a fertile farm

Your arm...

A mirror of the constant glow of your friendship

that jolts us awake from the tattered slumber of pain's sleep.

Your love lifts like a pulley...

a mechanism of angelic comfort

when the brow is crossed

and the mind tossed.

You remain with us

despite your journey

forever in our hearts!
