Stinko,

Since I first met you in the in 1974 at PSS Batibo, I have been inspired by your kind and sincere friendship to me and everyone around you. Our time together at Guka Hill will be forever in my memory. You always get along well with people, and you were highly respected, as both a person and a professional. You were always present for me and my family during times of joy, grief, failures and everything in between. In April 2015 when my father passed on, you were there to condole with us.

During the last year until God took you to His loving home and freed you from your pain, we had been in constant contact with each other. Bidding farewell to you is very difficult. I will always cherish all those moments we spent together, all that laughter we shared, all those stories we told.

We will miss you dearly, but we trust in The Lord that your spirit will remain with us forever. God saw you getting tired and He wrapped you in his loving arms and whispered to you, ‘Come with me.’ You faced your pain with courage until the very end and your faith in Him did not bend. You tried so hard to stay with us but your fight was not in vain. God took you to His loving home and freed you from your pain. Our comfort is that you are no longer in pain and you are resting peacefully in the bosom of our Lord.

Stinko, have a safe and peaceful trip back home to be with The Lord until we meet again. For your beloved wife, children and family, I pray for strength and peace. The God of all will be your shield and protector and everything else you need Him to be especially now. I wish you God’s eternal blessings!

Sincerely,

Ephraim Abam

Alas, my brother, the hour came and God called you home to his eternal rest. After all what you went through last year with God's grace and mercy, I couldn't imagine that the time of your departure was going to be so soon. Ni Eric, you were so full of life. Our eldest sibling; you took care of us all through the years. When our mum was called home, although just a teenager, you became our mother and subsequently, our father. You knew how to organize everything and would even prepare our meals. Very neat and organized, you distributed household chores to everyone. You were always concerned about our wellbeing. Always full of humour, you sometimes kept us laughing for hours. Even on your sick bed last year, you still entertained us with your humorous stories. An extrovert; you were a man of the people and made so many friends. Your friends were drawn from all walks of life. Always the chief organizer on every occasion; you were the born leader. I however thank God because in your challenging moments, you drew closer to him and recognized his love as well as the fact that He is the most powerful and the most High God! We thank God for your life! Adieu dear brother! We are already missing you dearly!

My dear Brother,
How can this be true? I still can’t believe that you are gone. I never even got the chance to say goodbye. The thought of you brings tears to my eyes, but I refuse to cry because your life was full of laughter. Every time we were together, you made me laugh my lungs out with your funny stories.
Oh! My master storyteller is gone. Who will put a smile on my face again? I will never forget your soothing voice. I miss you with all of my heart. I wish we never had to part. But this is the road for everyone.
Rest in Peace, my beloved Brother

"Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."(John 5:24)
My dear brother, you became our mother while still a teenager and our father at a young age but never shied away from your responsibilities. You lived your life with joy and happiness and have now joined our team of angles watching over us. I shall hold you in my heart, until I can hold you in heaven.
