Last year, when Andy and I went to tell his Dad that we were engaged, Eric was really happy for us. As we were leaving and about to get into the car, he came over to me and said "we do hug in this family you know!" This was followed by a big hug from my future father-in-law.
 
Just a short memory but it always makes me smile!

I'll be adding my memories as they come to me, so they won't be in any particular order.

For instance, when I was starting to write this, the one that sprang to mind was when he stayed up really late one Christmas Eve trying to keep my rabbit Wiggles alive - without success I might add. Then he went and buried him in the back garden!

Then there was the time I fell off my bike and he did a two hour trip in one to get to the hospital. I know he used to drive fast but really, that's just crazy.

And speaking of crazy, how about the time he thought he'd be a hero and chase a robber. He jumped off the roof after him and managed to break both his ankles!!
