Tribute from Joyce Assanga
March 31, 2021
Eric my dear brother, my friend, my confidante...if I say I have no words I shall be dishonest...It is the space that will limit my tribute to you....all the adjectives and adverbs cannot complete who you were to anybody that met you..You were my playmate as we grew up...in Londiani we even went hunting antelopes with Simba our dog. In Londiani You protected me when dogs barked at us as we walked to school every morning. That left in me an indelible mark of a hero.... and a hero you remained all through to the last breath...the breath you struggled so hard to sustain. Undeniably for me this is the toughest departure to come to terms with. Even tougher is writing this tribute as it confirms I will never talk to you or communicate in any way in this world. Am consoled by the fact that you are in the right place rejoicing with the angels and those who preceded you.. Dad, Mum, Rodger, Oscar n Sammy. God will fill the void you have left in my personal life and in the family. REST AND DANCE WITH THE ANGELS
