My brother battled cancer for 19 months, proving to everyone he is a true fighter. I know it was the love for his kids, Margaret and Christian, that kept him going. He truly lived his life for his kids and he was absolutely one of the best fathers I have ever known.

I will miss my big brother, but I am happy that he is no longer in pain and that he has joined our mom and Grams and several other special relatives and friends. Since his diagnosis, we have spent countless hours on the phone, which I will always cherish. If he wasn't on the phone with me, then it was with our cousin Richie. I am very thankful to Richie for being with Eric the last several weeks and also helping Rose and the kids.
