On the passing of my friend Eric , I'm somewhat at a loss for words that will express the deep emotional hurt and sadness I'm feeling. So instead I thought I'd focus on all the special things about Eric that he imparted to me as a result of becoming friends. Eric and I didn't start out as friends. And for a while we were just acquaintances of a mutual friend. But as time moved on, I was blessed to see a different side of Eric that I will cherish forever. Underneath his manly exterior was a man who was caring, loving, forgiving, helpful, compassionate, funny ,talented, hard working, intelligent and the list goes on and on. He was truly a gifted man in so many areas in his life and I was fortunate to have him integrate those wonderful attributes into our friendship. He was truly a person that I considered to be my friend and I love him and will miss him dearly. You will be sincerely missed but never forgotten. May your eternal future bring you peace and tranquility and my blessings that come from my heart. Until we meet agian...I love you my brother, I love you my friend.

BUT YOU ARE BLANCHE...YOU ARE! ♡

Eric was always a light in my life. When I was down, he was there, offering comfort and support. When I was happy, we celebrated together or just acted goofy. When I was in need, Eric always offered a helping hand. When Mom had a stroke and it was too late for me to withdraw from my college courses without getting a "F", he and Christie watched after Mom so I could attend classes. He was the brother of my heart and made such a huge difference in my life, and in the lives of so many others. I miss him more than I can say. We lost Eric way too soon, and his passing left a hole in my heart. I would give anything to have him back, but until the day we finally meet again, I will do my best to honor my extraordinary friend and fill the void that he left behind with a multitude of loving memories.

Eric, I loved being with you and we had some good times together. Meeting you back before your mother and grandmother passed. You were such a good light in my own life. Thank you for the good times we've had over the years. I know that you are in peace now. From earthly temptations in life. I hope we get to see each other when I cross over as well! ❣

In friendship our lives became intertwined, and in turn you left a piece of yourself behind. That piece of your soul lives in my heart and mind. I miss you every day, best friend.

He makes my feet feel good...

Eric knew that I bought a soaking tub for my feet from China. We laughed at how long it was taking to get here. In the meantime he went out and bought me a motorized foot tub because he knew about my Type 2 Diabetes,  and wanted me to help me.   When I finally received my tub from China I gave it to Eric. It was a good thing cause my size 11 feet had just fit in. I enjoy the present that Eric got me very much, and will think of him everytime I use it.

The thing about Eric that I loved the most was that he let me  be myself, and still he loved me. That’s the kind of friend he was to anyone he called a friend. He was creative, artistic, funny and smart. He was gentle and helpful, sincere and kind. This life was hard on Eric, but he persevered. I feel cheated every day that passes without him. Eric will be missed until we meet again. I love you brother.
