Eric Wayne Lyttle, age 64, was born on November 11,1959 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Frank and Pauline Lyttle.

He dedicated his life to God at an early age and decided to follow Jesus Christ. Eric attended True Christian Missionary Baptist Church for over 18 years.

Eric was a student in the Dayton Public School System and graduated from Fairview High School as a member of the Class of 1978. After high school Eric began working in the restaurant industry. He was employed at the former Dayton Raquet Club as a dishwasher but quickly discovered that he wanted to advance beyond that position. He approached the Executive Chef at the time and stated “Hey, I want to earn the money that you make” It was from that point that he beganan apprenticeshipwith the Head Chef and would eventually become an Executive Chef in his own right. In addition to the Dayton Raquet Club Eric worked at some of the best fine dining restaurants in the Dayton area including 4 River Place Restaurant. He was currently the Executive Chef at The Paragon Supper Club in Miamisburg, Ohio for over 23 years where the owners have proclaimed that he helped carry the restaurant into success as a dedicated employee.

Eric was also a devoted husband, father, Paw-Pawand friend. He enjoyed watching sports and was a die-hard San Franciso 49ers and LeBron James Fan. Eric was passionate about cooking and especially loved sharing his BBQ skills with his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and backyard parties where he was often the life of the party.

On Monday December 25, 2023, Eric departed this earth on his favorite holiday, Christmas Day. He was preceded in death by his loving parentsFrank and Pauline Lyttle and his mother and father-in-law, William and Fannie White.

Eric leaves to cherish his memory:faithful and devoted wife Vicki Lyttle, daughter Kendra(Dwight) Coleman, Atlanta GA, son, Eric Scott White, Dayton, OH grandson Kaylyn Coleman, Atlanta GA, a granddaughter that he was instrumental in raising whom he affectionately nicknamed Boo-Boo, Jordyn Printers Dayton, OH, brothers Leon Johnson, Louisville, KY and Scott B Lyttle Dayton, OH, aunt Patricia Keeton, uncle Fred (Josephine) Lyttle, brother in laws William and Gary White, sister in laws Deborah(Tim) Platt and Tina White all of Maysville, KY and LaLinda Stevens Portsmouth, VA., his special friends Kevin S. Payne and Eddie Sexton, his special ladies Veda Payne, Valerie Durham and Vanessa Roye, The Paragon Supper Club familyand a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
