Erica was a joy to work with on our overnight shifts. She was quick with a smile for her co-workers, willing to take on a challenge and genuinely cared about our patients. She was strong enough to ask for help when she needed it and jumped in to help others when they faced challenges. Above all I know she was so very proud of her son for his maturity and dedication to his academic achievements. She was happy to share pictures of her family with me and her love for her children was obvious. She was working hard to make a good life for her children. I pray her legacy lives on through her beautiful children. Peace be with Erica's family and loved ones.

Sweet Erica, I will always cherish our friendship! We would still keep in touch even after I left the hospital. I want you to know you helped me through so much during those hard times. We would just sit and talk for hours in them slow early days of work. You were truly one of a kind. The sweetest soul. Every time I would pop into the ER .. I was so excited to see you were there that night. Your kindness and positivity always radiated through and spread to everyone around you. Your hugs were genuine and the best! Your heart so pure!
