Is with a heavy heart I write this message. Erin was such a joy to me and the rest of our indoor cohead soccer team at Gatanoes Friday night league. She has such a presence on and off the pitch. I am so sad to lose such a gentle soul. My heart and prayer go out to her entire family for the loss. May all the memories of Erin we carry in our hearts stay with us forever.

Mrs. Lynch was my 8th-grade health teacher. She was always so kind and funny and she was a really cool teacher. It hit us (me and fellow students) hard when we found out she passed because we didn't know she was sick so it was like she was just gone out of nowhere. She was always smiling and made her students happy too. She was an all-around great person and on behalf of all of your past students, we love and miss you, Mrs. Lynch Fly High <3

To all the Lynch family and their extended families, and Erin's husband: The pain and grief of losing someone as wonderful, vibrant, young and beautiful as Erin is an emotion that is unfathomable. Our hearts are in pain for you; we've known this grief more than once. Lean on your faith and ask God to help you through this devastating time. Love, Chuck and Janis Adams

On behalf of the Clearview Girl’s Track program, I want to extend my sincerest sympathies to Erin’s husband Matt, and the entire Lynch family. Erin’s passing is devastating to all of us who knew her as a strong, and vibrant young women! I will always remember Erin as someone who could be strong willed, extremely competitive, but who also possessed a warm and wonderful personality. She was one of the stalwarts of our track and field program at Clearview, and I was blessed with opportunity to coach her, and witness so many of her athletic accomplishments. A few years after Erin’s graduation, she came back to Clearview, and I had the opportunity to watch her become an excellent educator who was loved and admired by all her students. Erin will be forever loved and missed by her coaches and teammates at Clearview!

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Lynch, Pickard and Fender families. Erin was a fierce women. A true competitor who excelled in all she attempted. I will never forget the first time I saw her and Matt together, she was beaming. She made life so fun for everyone. I can’t stop thinking about her, her family and the pain we are all suffering losing her. Heaven gained a true angel. ** Remembering Erin Always **

I may not have watched Erin grow up into the beautiful woman that she was, but I certainly watched her beautiful life through your eyes, Tracey. I remember when you brought Erin into this world and the first few years of her life. Her smile brightened my world as it did to so many.  My thoughts and prayers will always be with you and your family.

Love, Kelly

To Matt, Don, Tracy, Katie and DJ, please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of Erin. We met Erin only a few times, at Rutgers Gymnastics meets, but she couldn't have been nicer to us and our daughter, who was competing for Rainbow Gymnastics and later for the University of Bridgeport. She was an inspiration to our family, knowing that someone from our town could go on to compete at the college level. Erin and all of your family will be in our prayers. I was so stunned to learn of Erin's passing. I came to know her mostly as one of our fierce competitors; as I was the Kingsway Track coach and Erin was such a pivotal part of the great Clearview squads. No matter the outcome, Erin was always friendly, outgoing and such an inspiration to watch. When I would run into her at other events she always made a point of greeting me with that great smile and ask how things were going. I know she meant so much to her family, her schools, her teammates and her friends. Such a sad loss; but she has left so many wonderful memories for all of us God bless you Erin, Milt and Rose

E-Money!!! Where do I start, you my friend were one of my favourite people on earth. We always kept in touch, no matter the distance. Talking, laughing, joking around and counting down till the next time I would be in the USA. I got to stand by you while you married Matt and even stood in the rain for all your photos! We never missed an opportunity to make memories and my heart is full because of that. You fought a hard battle, and you can count on me meeting you on the otherside and the shenanigans will start all over again. Heartchu!

Erin, though we just recently bonded over our love off all things Harry, you still refused to tell me which house you were in. I realize now it's because you, my friend, could never be put into just one house. You truly encompass all of the best traits of each house: the courage and bravery of Gryffindor, the loyalty and kindness of Hufflepuff, the wisdom and creativity of Ravenclaw, and the ambition and leadership of Slytherin. Your magic will live on in this world and the next. "After All, to the well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure" - Albus Dumbledore.

I had the pleasure of knowing Erin through her Ciocia (Karyn Pickard) while completing her Student Teaching at KRMS. She was a special young lady with a passion for life who lived that way, all the way until her last breath. Erin’s battle with cancer was truly inspirational to many people. My prayers go out to Matt, her Mom and Dad, Sister Katie, and Brother DJ, as well as all her family and friends that had the pleasure of knowing Erin. The world may have lost a rock star but Heaven gained an angel.

The joy that Erin has brought to so many young people cannot be expressed into words...whether it was through her time as an educator or her dedication to coaching. While she may no longer be with us, she will always be remembered fondly; and her enthusiasm will live on in the lives that she so positively affected.
