Mrs. Erma Champion Reece, 82, of Oxford died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Universal Health Center in Oxford, N.C. after a short illness. Born May 21, 1934 she was a lifetime resident of Granville County retiring after many years of service from Granville Hospital. She and her late husband, D C Reece were married for 64 years and were members of Enon Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Enon Baptist Church by Rev. Steve Brown. Visitation will be prior to the service at the Church from 9:30 – 11:00 A.M.

She is survived by two sons, Stewart C. Reece and wife Bess and Randy Reece both of Oxford, four grandchildren, Joey and wife Kathy, Lyndsey and husband Brad Duke, David and Daniel Reece, two great grandchildren, Carson Reece and Coleman Duke. She is also survived by brothers, Howard Champion and wife Allie Mae, Donald Champion, Burley Champion and wife Brenda, Clifton Champion and wife Gail, Charles Champion, Steve Champion and wife Denise, Larry Champion, sisters, Pauline Newell, Virginia Morton, Faye Jones, Linda Fox and husband Sam, Betsy Lovings and husband Robert. She was preceded in death by her sons, Ronald Craig Reece and David Cecil Reece and her parents, Sidney C. and Helen Cash Champion.
