Ern had a lot of rough times after his marriage was over...Did alot of things he was not proud of... He started dating Latosha even got her a ring..I thought maybe he could be happy again..But things were not meant to be..... The Lord wanted his angel back..

            Ernest Lee added a smile to alot of peoples lives for the short time he was on this earth....  And  when you see a rainbow think of him... he sent us one to show where he is the day he was laid to rest....... Love and miss you until we meet again..........

        Ern married Crystal Cowden on June 28 2002... didn't last long he thought he'd like to be running around again...Well when he figured out that was not what he wanted, that he let go of what mattered the most it was to late.. He never got her back... So when I hear George Jones's "" HE STOPPED LOVING HER TODAY'' it just reminds me of him.... And yes I wondered if she'd come... Yes she did and was with us through every step.. He always wanted her to pick his clothes out when they would go somewhere so she did that 1 more time for him.. She was there to help mom pick out his stuff.. She gave me and mom strengh and we will never forget her she was our angel...

      Ern got saved his senior yr. never forget him and Eddie had left  he said later they had beer and was going to go party..... but they went by East London church I'm sure to see who they could see there and they ended up stopping and going in  well needless to say that was the best stop Ern ever made the Lord had other plans for him that nite.... The plan that assures me I'll be with him again when this life is over.....

      Eddie was Ern's best friend for many a year.. Ern  would say I love him like my brother.. No doubt in my mind that Eddie felt the same way about Ern..    Ern had alot of close friends over the years that he thought alot of...I could not begin to name all his best buds because I'd never remember them all.....Thats just the way he was ......One of a kind my Ern!!

  Ern went to school at South Laurel Middle and South Laurel High... He never got in much trouble at school.. every now and than over a girl..maybe..lol    He always did good in school made honor roll most of the time..... Played baseball all through school and got letters from all over big colleges wanting him to play ball..  But, he decided to stay close to home( and to Crystal) so he went to Saint Catherine College....After he was in car accident and hurt his shoulder he never we back to college...........I think at times he wished he had went on to follow his dreams of playing pro ball and if he had no doubt he would have made it.....

  Ern started playing at the age of 9... Remember 1 day he was out in yard with his dad and brother playing, (Larry hollered alot over ball lol)  Ern came in he said" I'm not playing!! I'm not listening to that" I said did you tell dad that? he said'' I told him I had to use the bathroom and you better not tell him Mom!! LOL    Larry put a rope through a tire and hung it from a tree and Ern would stand out half the day throwing throw that tire.. He was a great little ball player.. Had  no-hitter after no hitter he could pitch that ball and put it where he wanted it....

       Ern loved summer after ball was over than he could stay with his cousin Brian  them 2 would have never left each other if we didn't make them.....I can close my eyes and see them sitting at the barn looking each other right in the eye talking a mile a minute and chewing their tobacco.. I'd ask Rita wonder what big tale they are telling each other..lol   If it was just 1 day that they hadn't saw each other they still acted like it was months... They loved each other so much........When he wasn't with Brian he had a somebody at the house with him..He loved for Ben& Zack Bryson to come over they would get out and play wiffle ball all day, some days they would call Robbie and he would walk down to play and if James was in the mood he would (LOL)  No, him and James played many a day just the 2 of them , they might have their disagreements but, they love each other so much.. And James is so lost without him... As well as the rest of the family...

    Ernest Lee was born Nov. 10 th  1981.... He was such a good baby hardly ever cried and before he was 2 months was sleeping all nite,  unlike his older brother James who never slept a full nite until he was 4...LOL..  He  lost all his baby hair and we thought he was never going to get any back.. when he did it was so white you could hardly see it...lol    Hard to believe that ,as dark as it turned out to be......

     We went to FL.  when Ern was about 2... While his dad and I was at work his Uncle Johnny kept him and James..  Some days they were mean little boys...LOL  I think they got in the garden and picked off little tomatoes once and threw them all over John's car.. Don't know if it was Ern's ideal or James's...ha!ha!
