Ernestine Adaway (Tine) was born to the late W. K. and Olevia Rosser, October 7, 1952.

She is preceded in death by the late Robert Lewis Adaway, Sr.(husband);  Robert Lewis Adaway, Jr. (son);  Donald Rosser (brother); and Rachel Rosser (sister).

She later joined the Zion Hill Baptist Church at an early age under the late H. G. Reeds.  She attended the Luthersville Elementary School and Greenville Consolidated High School.

After marrying SFC Robert, they later traveled through out the U. S. Army bases.  Then after he retired, they moved back “home” to Luthersville, Georgia.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Charles F. Adaway, Anthony J. Adaway and Michael D. Adaway; one daughter, Travis Mitchell (Kendra); one step son, Jason Colton; twelve grandchildren; they later adopted Sahsha Carter, Samyria Carter and Sakiya Carter; one brother, Melvin Rosser; three sisters, Willene Hines, Roy Lyons (Emily), Terry Philpot (Cynthia); two sister-in-laws, Phylis Wiggins and Anelle Woods; two aunts, John Matthews (Francis), Sonny Partridge (Sandra); one uncle, Marvin Rosser; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends; a special niece, Rachel Philpot.
