My beloved cousin Ernie passed away unexpectedly in San Pedro. It is so sad. I fondly remember our beautiful times together in Olten when we were all small. Together, Ernie, his sister Katharina and I walked to and from school /kindergarten. In the Rosengasse apartment we played and caused a ruckus until the neighbors complained. It was so fun. 
On the weekends we went with our parents on the Are river or canal, where our Dads fished. We pick-nicked along the river. On Sundays we always went for walks dressed in our nice clothes, and then had ice cream in Graetzer Restaurant. This was a great lifestyle. 
During my long visit in Gardena, I always played cards with Ernie, and poker with chips. Ernie taught me how to shuffle cards. I will never forget the fun hours spent with Ernie and will always think about my beloved cousin.
