Happy New Year Dad I know your not here In person but your here In my heart. I really missed receiving a text message from you," wishing me Happy New year". Something so simple that Is often taken for granted as now gone.  Gosh I miss you so much.

"Our Ernie without a doubt was a true origanal".He always maintained a loyal familyand friendship connection with me through thick and thin and i will always eppreciate that. one of the many things i love about Ernie was his ability to laugh(a lot!).He found lots of things and would be happy to share that joy with whoever he happened to be around.

Ernie you will never be replaced in our hearts ,as i said before your a true origanal.

Who else do you know ,that among friends and a few unaware strangers would say.I bet you a fiver i can drink that pint without using mine or anyone elses hands.Off course a few fivers went on the bar top over years.Ernie with his big smile would put his hands behind the back ,lean down and pick the pint with his teeth and without spilling a drop drink it!(he had us in stitched) brilliant!

I didn't know you Ernie but i know of you through your daughter Samantha.
  The devotion and love you showed towards her and Callum make it clear that you were an exceptionally good man.
  The world is a sadder place with your passing.

Ernie, you will be sadly missed.
Our memories of you go back many years and through those years we had some brilliant times and family outings. The one to London was especially memorable as was Gary Moore concert.
