Mrs. Estella M. Watts of Columbus passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Midtown Medical Center. She was 83 years of age and resided at 909 Rosewood Drive.
Born in Baconton, GA on July 16, 1931, Mrs. Watts was the daughter of the late Willie and Hattie Evans Newkirk. She was a licensed Cosmetologist who was color specialist with Ebony Beauty Shop in Albany, GA. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church and the DAV Chapter #56. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Johnny C. Newkirk and Clifford Irvin.
Surviving her departure with cherished memories, include: three daughters, Barbara J. Stringer, Veronica E. Watts and Gena V. Watts; two sons, Phildrick J. Watts (Dorothy) and Kenneth Watts (Annie); ten grandchildren, one great grandchild; a sister, Fluddie Hold; a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
