Esther Doris Jackson Beal, 83, a longtime resident of Stem passed away Tuesday, July 12th at Granville Medical Center.

A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lonnie Bullock Jackson. She was a member of Geneva Presbyterian Church and was retired from John Umstead Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 14th in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford. Burial will be in Bullock-Oakley Family Cemetery on Range Road in Stem, N C.

Surviving are two daughters, Doris Beal Evans of Stem, Kathy Beal Ellington of Kittrell, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and a lifetime companion, David Aycock.

Visitation 12:30-1:45PM Thursday, July 14th prior to the service at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at 4169 Culbreth Road, Stem, NC 27581.
