Ethel Wynne Howard, 92, a former resident of the Kinton Fork Community and the Granville House passed away Sunday, May 1st.

She was a long time resident of Granville County, the daughter of the late Peter J. and Belma Perkinson Wynne. She was a member of Hester Baptist Church for many years and a loving mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 3rd at Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford. Burial will be in Hester Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Nell Howard Blackwell of Oxford, Joyce Howard Capps of Macon, a son, Cecil M. Howard of Oxford, a brother, P.J. Wynne of Oxford, eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Terry Howard, a sister, Lorene Montague and two brothers, Thomas and Herbert Wynne.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hester Baptist Church or to Community Hospice, 1242 Dabney Dr., Henderson, NC 27536.

Visitation 12:30-2:00 PM Tuesday, May 3rd prior to the funeral service at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home of Nell Blackwell.
