Mr. Eulas Horne, Jr of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Hamilton House Transitional Center. He was 90 years old and resided at 3012 Fontaine Drive.

A native of Birmingham, AL and the son of the late Eulas, Sr and Sadie King Horne, Eulas was born February 13, 1924. Residing in Columbus since the 1940's, Mr. Horne retired as Head Custodian at Clubview Elementary School after over 36 years of service. He served as a ministerial servant of the Forrest Hill Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses until failing health. He was a US Army veteran of World War II.

Other that his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Gussie Horne; two daughters, Boncee Horne and Cacelia Abron; a grandson, Eulas Horne IV; two uncles, Primus King and Arthur Mays; his in-laws, Carrie Fryer, Ann Harris, Ida Harrison, Daisy Collins, Orrie Johnson, Frank Collins and George Collins.

Survivors include his loving children, Barcenia Gibbons(Willie), McQuetta Carter(George), Valesser Hodo(Jack), Eulas Horne III(Judy), Tonya' Horne(Takashia) and Shannon Horne; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; a son-in-law, Tommy Abron; a sister-in-law, Tracey Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
