I thought of her with love today
but that is nothing new
I thought about her yesterday
and days before that too. I cannot say and I will not say
That she is dead,
She has gone to be with our father, but she is still with us.
She is the thousand winds that blow,
She is the sun that shines each day,
She is the gentle autumn rain.
She is my aunt Eunice who loved many, and is still loved by many.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Eunice will be missed by all.

My dearest auntie, l miss you so much, l miss our phone calls when you would say hello Mrs. Ricks. It tickled me so, we had deep conversations about life's troubles, and lite-hearted ones full of laughter. You are and always will be my second mom. I know it's all in his plan, and his will shall be done. But this is a hard one Lord. Growing up you think grandmothers live forever. I hate to say I wish I would have said or did this as an adult but I genuinely do. As a Child you never made a difference with me no matter what judgements were made. You loved me for me, always told me I was beautiful, a diva and your grandchild. I’m forever grateful for the times we were able to spend together. Summers at your house were a blast, you sneaking money in my hand saying don’t tell your sister or cousin and come to find out we all hand money. I love you granny and I want one of those tight hugs when I see you again.
