Miss. Cavender was born in the Rockalo Community of Heard County on May 10, 1930. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She devoted herself to loving her siblings, their children, and grandchildren. Being with them was the joy of her life! She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by one sister, Burla Pope of Mableton, GA. ; two nephews, James Pope (Susan), Michael Cavender; one great-niece, Susanne Barfield; and three great nephews, Brad Pope, Wes Pope, and Scott Pope. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ridley Cavender and Alma Noles Cavender.
