March 18, 2019

Evelyn Jean Mosley born April 5, 1927 in Rochester, NY to William and Irene (Bedoar) Mosley.  She was a 1946 Graduate of Charlotte High School in Rochester

Evelyn married Roy Williams and had 3 children, Gary Roy Williams, Donna Jean Williams and Terry Scott Williams.  She was later blessed with 3 grandchildren.  Sadly, she experienced the loss of her son Gary, her daughter Donna, Roy and recently a granddaughter to Huntington's Disease.

In later years, Evelyn married Frank Shay and was widowed in 1979.

She married Frederick (Rick) Eickhorn in 1980 and gained 3 adult step-children and 6 more grandchildren and the rest of the Eickhorn gang.  Sadly, Evie lost a stepdaughter and was widowed once again when she lost Rick almost exactly a year prior to her passing.

Evie passed on Feb 25th. 2019.

Life

March 18, 2019

Evie loved her family, making new friends, playing the organ, drawing, making beaded jewelry and shopping in thrift stores for great buys.

Evie truly embraced FAMILY, she was good at staying connected and loved seeing all the nieces and nephews and all of her extended family and step-family.

The first thing that most people would say after knowing Evie would be "She never met a stranger". She loved people and was very outgoing and loved socializing.

She taught herself how to play the electric organ and played all the time.  She especially loved playing for other people. She often played for the Bible Studies at the various places that they lived.

After marrying Rick, Evie learned to fish, boat and snorkel, but always liked the pool the best. They did extensive traveling, Evie always coming home with many knew friends.

We called Evie our Fashionista, she always had everything matching and well put together from her shoes to jewelry to the ever present "jacket".  I sometimes wondered if she started making jewelry so that she would have something to match every single thing she had.
