This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Evelyn was born July 15, 1940 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Erie Davis Gaddy and Lillie Taylor Gaddy. She was retired from Peachland Polkton Elementary School. Evelyn loved basketball, adored teaching but nothing could take away the love she had for her family! 

Her husband, Michael Wayne Baucom preceded her in death in September 2003. Surviving are her children,  Brenda Baucom of Victoria, TX ; Daniel Baucom of Warren, Ohio: and Ramona McCollum of Wadesboro, NC ,her granddaughter, Aleah Baucom of Burnsville, NC and her brother, Tom Taylor of Wadesboro.

I'll never forget the last conversation we had E! We were sitting outside and Daniel was cleaning up twigs in the yard and you told me, "I haven't seen him this happy in a long time, Angie, I'm glad he has you!" Those words still mean everything to me! We didn't have a lot of time together but the time we had, I'll never forget! He still has me and he's still happy E! We both know you are watching over us! Love and miss you so much <3
