BIOGRAPHY

Hon Ezekiel Gyang Gwom was born on the 25th March,1966 to the family of late Da Gyang Gwom of blessed memory and Ngo Tabitha Gyang Gwom

EDUCATION.

He attended EKAN primary school Foron from 1977 to 1982 for his First school leaving certificate. He proceeded to St. Jude’s Secretarial Centre Owerri-Imo state, between 1984 and 1988

In his quest for education, Ezekiel was given admission into the Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi between 1997 and 2002, where he obtained the following qualification

 1                    Certificate course in Business Administration

2                    O.N.D. in financial Studies

3                    H.N.D. in Business Administration and management

 In furtherance to his education and professional pursuit, Ezekiel enrolled into ACCA professional examinations between 2012 and 2013 and passed with flying colours, but he was never inducted into the fellowship because his result was made known to some of his friends a day after his untimely death.

WORKING EXPERIENCES

Late Hon Ezekiel Gyang Gwom, secure his first appointment with AFIC Investment Ltd, Jos, from 1989-1990, where he worked as a confidential secretary. In 1990, he voluntarily tendered his resignation letter at AFIC Investment L td, and he later gained employment with Northern Nigeria Bible College, Saminaka-Kaduna in 1990 and there, he only worked for a year. Furthermore, in his pursuance for his livelihood, God Blessed him with an offer with RURCON, Jos, where he started as a confidential secretary in 1991 and he rose to a ranked of finance officer, a position he held u until his untimely death on 14th february,2013.

CHRISTIAN AND MARRIED LIFE.

Hon. Ezekiel was a man after God heart since his childhood days to the effect that later in life, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour and was baptised in 1984. He was a communicant and active member of COCIN Gigiring. Until his demise on the 14th february,2013, at Sparkling- Junction, Dading- kowa Jos in a ghastly car accident, a day coincided with his 15th year wedding anniversary, he has been placed under Church discipline.  May God grand him eternal rest AMEN.

His marriage is blessed with three children.

POLITICAL CAREER.

Ezekiel was not born into the family of a politician neither was he trained as one. But his human love enthusiasm, charisma, selfless- denude spurred him into politics where he contested twice for member Plateau State House of Assembly to represent the good people of Barki Ladi constituency under the banner of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN),but he never won. A promising-young man a bridge-builder, a gladiator of hope, political gladiator to his political associates, just met with his untimely death without gallantly accomplishing his ambition to his community- and the state at large.

He was a committed, loving husband and father who will be greatly missed by all.

Ezekiel, will be remembered for his zeal for the work of God humility, radiant love and his sense of humour wherever he found himself. He was kind, jovial, generous and respectful to all that come in contact with him.

He is survived by the following:
