Rest well Uncle. I wish I'm doing this for your retirement party or birthday party, instead of your funeral.

Your death is a great loss to us all but now and always, I have chosen to celebrate you and to remember the kind of person you were and the beautiful life you lived.

You brought joy, happiness, laughter and comfort to all who met you; most of the knowledge I have today as an adult I learnt from you. You will be sorely missed by everyone.

Time may pass and fade away but memories of you will always stay.

It's Ok to miss you. It's Ok to cry.

Goodnight Uncle. Your journey has ended. Your struggles have now ceased. Time to close your eyes to happy dreams and wake up to eternal peace.

A sure debt we all owe, death. A must experience for all living, death. A reality of life, journey to the Iife beyond, death.
Uncle, you were such a man with large heart, you accommodates, you were a perfect example of transparency and simplicity. In deed you have paid your debt, death never to die again. I believe in the glorious morning that the power that woke Jesus Christ from the dead will wake you because I know that you are resting in peace.
I will miss you Uncle.

Uncle Luke Ezele was one man with great strength of character, which reflected in all he did. He loved people wholeheartedly and was always concerned about their wellbeing. He was a Man of intents and purposes who went about his life mindful of his nuclear and extended family, always loving, always giving, always showering care like a brightly lit lamp illuminating those around him with light, colour and authentic goodness.

Now he's gone! But is he really gone? I'm inclined to think he lives on in my heart as a rare gem, forever memorable, a shooting star. There is no doubt he is sorely missed, but I'm comforted with the thought that he is in a better place looking down at us, loving still, in soothing whispers of love and care.

I am forever blessed to have met and known him in his lifetime. All he represented and what he stood for remains a treasure I'll live to honour and value. Oh! That hearty laugh, the "surrealness" of all these and the transient nature of this world. Thanks for living .. Uncle Luke . May your gentle soul continues to rest in the bosom of the Lord forevermore. Amen!
