Today and many other days brings special thoughts of you, your care and love for others and all the caring things you use to do.
And once more, it’s a reminder that life’s road is sometimes rough because the time you shared with all of us just wasn’t enough. For you were someone special and loved by many and who will always be remembered. So sending thoughts to heaven on the day you went away and hope that you know you are missed because whenever you walked into a gathering, it was like a breath of fresh air. Your smile and energy brightened everyone’s day  Your loss leaves a huge gap in our lives.
Sleep peacefully Tony, you will be sorely missed by all your family and friends.

The unexpected sad news got to the Elu’s family on February 20th 2021 of your demise. The jewel of our family just left us unannounced. It was like a thunderstorm racking my head. The temptation came up to ask God why? But no one questions God. We give glory to God that you lived a fulfilled life. You left behind your wife and 3 children, your 10 sisters and numerous nieces, nephews, in laws, cousins , friends and well wishers. A sociable, respectful, humorous brother is gone!
Never mind, you will never be forgotten in our hearts. Our prayers will help you rest in peace. Go well Ezennia Tony ! Adieu Tony Walette! Adieu my only brother, till we meet to part no more. I love you always

Your Death came as a shock to me and as you sit in the arms of the Lord, my family, mourn your death. It’s all right as each of us have the Lord beside us as we say our farewells. Your body might be gone from this world but your spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Today we will mourn you in our own way as we pay a tribute to you.
We still wake up every morning hoping this is a dream, and it hurts knowing you are gone forever. I guess this is our final goodbye since we never got the chance to do so. Rest in peace Uncle, We will definitely miss you. Okwuayanga Nonso

Uncle Tony (Ezennia), I still can't believe I am writing a tribute because of your passing. Words cannot describe this difficult moment, but if this is the last time I get to say goodbye then I know I will do so with the knowledge that I consider myself blessed to have lived this life as your nephew. While we mourn today, we also take comfort in the fact that your mission on earth have been fulfilled. We thank the Lord for your life and bid you farewell until we meet again.

It must be difficult for everyone in the family. With the feeling you are loosing everything. Remember that trees lose their leaves every year and still they stand tall and wait for better days to come. The Lord is your strength.

I want to first mention that my Uncle Anthony Ezennia Elu was a special man. Special because he had a gift of bringing people together. What I can remember is the get togethers he will host, which he will bring friends and family together as one. On the 20th February we lost a special edition to this family but we gained an Angel in the sky, without a doubt I know my uncle will look over us and guide us because that’s the type of man he was. A generous and caring man. So as sad as this day is let us take comfort knowing that he is in peace and that his beautiful children Jermaine, Declan, and Jacqueline will honor him and do him proud. Lastly, We all love you and miss you uncle, and save all of us a spot up in heaven.

Anthony Chukwudi Akaolisa Elu. To me? An Uncle, to others a Friend, a Brother, a Husband and most importantly a Father. A man who held roles in all of our lives has left us, but has been taken and welcomed in by God. As sad as it is to think about your sudden departure, we can find solace in the fact that your finally at peace, probably hosting one of your usual parties with our family up above. We love you and miss you and will hold on to the memories, the pictures, the videos and the feelings we shared with you. Have fun up there, and we will see you when we see you. - Myles

his Life
Ezennia Anthony Chukwudi Elu was born to the family of Late John Obiora and Nwamulunama Maria Elu of Umueze-Aroli in Onitsha Kingdom. Ezennia grew up in Enugu, where he was popularly known as Tony Walette. He was the last born and only son in a family of 11 children.
Tony attended both primary and secondary school in Enugu. After finishing secondary school, Tony moved to the USA for a couple of years where he attended McNeese State University. He later relocated to London where he met his wife and was blessed with 3 lovely children.
Tony left a legacy of love and integrity with his family and those who knew him. We are grateful for each day we got to see his welcoming smiles and the memories/jokes we shared with him.
Tony was very respectful, kind hearted, a motivator, he was ever smiling, an organizer, an event planner, fashionable, warm spirit, sweet soul, he was cherished and loved by all. He inculcated in his children a life of service to God and mankind.

He left behind his wife and 3 children. Sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, aunties, and numerous friends.
Ezennia Tony Walette's life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. He is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure!
