Fannie Goldsbourgh Eakes, 95, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Brantwood Nursing Home in Oxford.
She was born September 15, 1923 to the late Ralph Goldsbourgh and Addie Scott Goldsborough. Fannie was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor by Rev. Dan Hill.
Surviving are her daughter, Loretta Strickland of Butner; two sisters, Patsy Judd and Kathy Wood of Arkansas; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eakes; her son, Alton Ray Roberts; and three sisters and one brother.
