A Time To Be Born Fannie Lue Jones Tolbert was born on April 9, 1931 in Bullock County to the late Mr. Henry Jones & Lela Mae Austin Jones. Fannie was affectionately known as “Tee” to all who knew and loved her.

A Time For Deliverance Fannie confessed Christ at any early age and united with the County Line A.M.E. Zion Church. After marriage she united with the Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, Roba, Community.

A Time For Unity Fannie found the love of her life on November 16, 1947 and united in Holy Matrimony to James “Uncle Doc” Tolbert. To this lovable union 16 wonderful children were born.

A Time To Toil Fannie was educated at the Adult School at St. Paul Baptist Church, Armstrong Community. She was employed by Dr. Cohn and Wayne Poultry. She performed most of her daily tasks at home taking fantastic care of her husband, children, grand-children and great-grandchildren.

A Time To Treasure Fannie’s favorite color was RED.She enjoyed worshipping God, cooking, assisting others, gardening, sewing quilts, drinking cokes, eating honey buns, fried chicken livers, junk food, caring for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, the sick and KEEPING A CLEAN HOUSE!”

A Time To Really Live... Fannie entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 to unite with her loved ones who preceded her in death: husband: James “Uncle Doc” Tolbert; (5) five still born children; (2) two sons: James Ike “Jr.” Tolbert and Clinton James Tolbert; (1) one grandson: Arthur Jermaine Anderson; (1) one great grandson: Laxavier Demectrius Youngblood, Sr.; (4) four sisters: Lola Mae Taylor, Veola Long, Lula Bell Staten and Louise Didley; (1) one brother: John Wesley Jones; mother-in-law: Gennie L. Hatch; father-in-law: Howard Duncan; (1) one son-in-law: Early Collier Milbry; (5) five brother-in-laws: Colonel Mabson, Eddie Lewis Didley, Reuben Taylor, Joe Acoff and Clarence Swift, Sr.
