Faye and I met in Panama
I was fortunate to meet and work with Faye in the former Panama Canal Zone. We were the teamleaders in the Directorate of Engineering and Housing, Budget Office, and we were responsible for funding controls and expenditures related to the Real Property Maintenance and Army Family Housing appropriations ranging upwards to $85 million annually. We were a solid team, and as Faye would say - we complimented each other in our tasks. Faye was my "rock". She was a great team leader, and an exceptional Budget Analyst. After retiring and returning back the US we were fortunate to keep in touch. Within the past year we were able to meet up together and we were both super excited for the reunion. I am grateful we were able to visit in person, and although it was short, I felt like the years apart melted away. She was such a lovely lady, with a true heart, who when she said "love you", she meant it deeply. Faye, my dearest friend, you will be sorely missed, and I know you carried our love for you with you. I will never forget you, and I know you will be near. With much love, Ginger
