Cindy, I don't know if you remember me but I do remember you, I know this is a year late but just found this. So sorry to read about your mom passing. In reading the lovely things you had to say about her I was brought back to 2013 when my mom passed away after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was my best friend in the world as it sounded like yours was to you. You sounded like you had many good years with her down their with you I hope all those wonderful memories you have will sustain you until you join her in heaven.

I think about you often. I remember the years of laughs and nightly ice cream. You were not only a good friend but a mother image to me. You are a special person. Never a bad word to say or judgemental. A true christian and now an angel. You and your family have touched my heart. I love you and will miss you.

Mom-we grew up going to the beach every year. I love it because we vacationed there as a family and because you loved it so. But much more importantly we grew up going to church and you and Dad raised us all up in the way of the Lord. That gave me a solid foundation for life, a love of the Lord, and a Savior forever. There could be no better gift to leave us with.
We will always remember the great things you did for us-the bread you used to bake, the cow bells you used to ring as our fan at our athletic endeavors, the costumes you made for us on Halloween that brought us prizes, the holiday gatherings we had always with extended family, and the Christmases that were beyond the imagination of any child but always with Christ at the center. Thank you for all of that and more.
You were my heart. I will always love you and will miss you every day for the rest of my life. I will be listening for your harmony....and will join you once again some day in singing.

Faye was my mom's best friend and a second mother to me growing up - even though we lived in different states. We would join her family at the beach in Jersey every summer. She always made sure us kids had a great time, always had enough to eat, took care of our cuts & scrapes and watched out for all of us. She had a huge love for dogs that I think she passed on to me! I always felt happy and loved around Faye. I am thankful she was a part of my family's life and will always fondly remember her.

David and I enjoyed the visits we had with Faye whenever we were in Cape Coral. She loved to sit and chat, especially to hear about our travels, our children, and our grandchildren. Sometimes we would read to her the wonderful letters from her family out West. She loved explaining those to us. She had a great sense of family. There will be a gap in our lives next time we are in Cape Coral.
