Her Life

Felicia's life

August 19, 2014

Born in Muyuka, in the South West Region of Cameroon on December 29th 1963, Felicia Ebot began her journey through life.  She  was the second of ten children to Late Mr. Peter Ebot and his wife Esther Ebot.  Mr. and Mrs. Ebot were hard working Parents who raised their 10 children in a very disciplined way.  It was from here that Felicia learned her simplicity, kindness, compassion and ambitious ways.

After graduating from Government Primary School in Buea, Felicia went to secondary school at the Cameroon Baptist Academy  where she obtained her O’ Levels. From there, she went to high school in Lycee Bilingue Buea where she obtained her High School Diploma (A Levels). Her love for nature and the environment then landed her in a field of her passion which was agriculture. Felicia attended the Regional College of Agriculture (IRAD) in Bambilli, Cameroon where she graduated with Honors as an Agricultural Technician.

Immediately after graduating from IRAD, Felicia took up a position as an Agriculture Technician at the Kumba Regional Center for Agriculture- a position she held for about 11years. During this time, Felicia was also blessed with a handsome son- Lyndon-Noel Enow with whom she immigrated to the United States in 1998.

While in the United States, Felicia’s compassionate nature landed her in the field of healthcare. She worked for HOPE Rehabilitation Services for 3 years before moving to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center where she worked for 12 years. While working for Valley Medical Center, Felicia‘s ambition pushed her to pursue her education and in 2012 she passed her LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) Board exams. Felicia had just finished her prerequisites for the Registered Nursing degree and was in the process of applying to different nursing programs around the bay area when she passed away suddenly at Kaiser Santa Clara on Sunday August 3rd 2014

Felicia was a loving and caring mother, sister, aunt and friend. We will miss her cheerful and delightful presence but we will always remember the wonderful times we had with her.

Felicia’s life seems to have been cut far too short, but during her time here on earth, she touched so many people. It is hard to accept that she is no longer with us but her memories will live in our hearts forever. Felicia, we will all miss you. We love you forever!!
