It's one year today, I see your infectious smile and it really hurts to know it's all pictures now. Well, you are certainly in a better place. Continue to rest in the Lord.

Hmmmm.... what can I really say that can qualify a woman who was so beautiful inside out, very simple, happy and yet prayerful. I cannot forget how u came to my room early the day of my wedding while I was dressing.... you sang and prayed for me.... now u sing with the choirs of Angels... Rest on ma and may perpetual light continue to shine on you

Today i write the words that could not come when you were laid to rest.
Today i remember the good times, the hard times , the sad times and the happy times.

we remember her weird ways and ability to observe without words. Her unconditional passion for all things Heavenly. Her spirit that easily forgives. Her smile that lights up a room.

She taught her kids the value of PRAYER and the protection, confidence and assurance it brings

Now her smile lights up the heavens and like roses growing in heaven, her radiance is now for the angels.

If roses grew in heaven
O Lord pick a bunch for me
Place them in my mothers arms.....please tell her they are from me
Remind her that i Love her and miss her so much
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheeks and hold her for a while

Remembering you dear mum is easy
But the ache in my heart remains.....It doesn't go away
But now you stay the same

A smile for all and bliss to be
In the masters hand
As safe as can be

See you Soon Mum but not just yet.....

Already 6 months ago since you left just like that. I still remember clearly the last time you visited my mum when we were still in Benin . You shared with her how you drove to Abuja by yourself and the shock on my mum's face knowing it was the first time. You also shared your faith and relationship with Jesus which made mun glad. The depth of conviction with which you shared was a clear display of your love for God and the violent prayers that followed. You were indeed a strong woman. A painful exit but you had finished your work here. Continue to rest in the Lord's bosom.
