Forever Young

Shared by Susan Summers on August 17, 2020
During my ten years at UNLV, Felicia would never admit to her age.  Young at heart she would answer.  I was nearing my 70's and she would say, "My God you look like you're in your 50's!"  Then Felicia had cataract surgery and when she came back, in her indomitable way she said, "My God, what happened to you!"  All I see is wrinkles.  We both had a great laugh over that one.
I spent many hours talking with her about every subject imaginable.  Had many a Saturday breakfast with her as we lived fairly close together.  Laughed with her over her Bright RED SUV.  When asked when she was going to retire she would always reply never and by golly she never did!
I am so thankful that I got to work with her and be her friend for many years after my retirement.  Her smile will stay in my heart forever.
