Your passing left us with a heavy heart but I am assured you are now in a better place, peaceful under His wings. No more pain, no fear of hospital visit and unpleasant revelations, no medications to keep the body working. A place with no worries of what to eat what to wear, sleepless night and unrest. We give glory to our Father for this wonderful gift of perfect peace. We miss you dearly but who are we to question Him the one who holds our lives in His hands and has the last word. The Church join hands with your family and friends to wish you Eternal Rest.
Thank you for your contributions physically and financially in the work of God. Good night, sleep on until the resurrection day when we shall meet to part no more. Adieu.

Darling Mother you have fought the good fight and won the victory.
Your legacy lingers on. You have been a wonderful mother to me and my children. Is the constant prayers to pray for me on my birthdays or my hubby or children . You always remind me being a firstborn I shall never be the tail. ‘ Tayo olori ni e , oni tawo na, wa je olori for life ’ this is how you start your prayer over me.
You loved our boys especially your Femo femo you nicknamed him ‘oko mama e’ . Thank you for always supporting and advising our Mum as you call her iya pupa.
You are approachable and very reasonable in your advice and myself and Sister respect your wisdom.
You will surely be missed but God loves you best.
I can go on but I thank God for good memories of your prayers and birthday gifts always.
You are surely missed. And continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.
Love from Tayo Amole and all my family xxx

I was tremendously shocked and saddened to hear of her passing in May. Though it gave me a heavy heart as well as endless tears throughout the remainder of the week. I prayed that you were on your well earned rest in God's kingdom.

She was no doubt one of the sweetest people I'll ever know, I can't really remember a time in my life from when I didn't know Grandma Ebiola for which I am glad. It did not take long for me to start seeing her as my Grandma at all, every visit and exchange to her was looked forward to, meaningful and memorable to which I'll fondly look back on for the years to come.

She will forever be missed by family and friends alike, rest in perfect peace Grandma. I hope I'll be able to meet you again.

Dear Mummy Elebiola, as much as your death saddens me, I have faith that you are resting in the bossom of the almighty. Firstly I Thank Almighty God for keeping you all through those years and giving you a meaniful, resourceful and impactful life.

I am thankful for all our time together and your motherly advice and counsel. Romans 14:7 Reminds us that "For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone".

You lived for us all and made yourself a good buffer and intermediary to a lot of issues. I was so privileged to have you as my very special mum that meant so very much to me, you were such an important part of my family. You fought a good fight and won the race. You left a legacy that will be read through the generations, current and to come. You left a mark in our hearts, and nothing will ever erase. It is indelible in our hearts.

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth no the bread of idleness.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Give her the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates".

I am so grateful that some day I will see you again and get to spend eternity with you.

Her Life

Life and legacy of Deaconess (Mrs) Felicia Monisola Elebiola

July 4, 2021
Felicia Monisola was born 7 February 1939 in the town of Ondo in Ondo State to the family of the late Pa James Adewole and late Madam Esther Adewole.  Felicia was the firstborn of five children.  Felicia was very sociable and was a member of several elite clubs in the United Kingdom and Nigeria.  Felicia loved Nigerian fashion and jewellery and always dressed elegantly in the most elaborate and colourful Nigerian lace.

She was a devoted mother and Christian, a conscientious worker for Christ.  Felicia was ordained as a Deaconess in the Christ Apostolic Church UK.  She was a philanthropist and well known in all CAC churches both in the UK and abroad.

Felicia attended L. A Primary School in Ondo, after completion, she moved to Owo, where she lived with her aunt and completed her secondary schooling. Felicia qualified as a midwife at St. Louis Combine Hospital in Owo.  There she met, courted and married Pa William Feyisara Elebiola, a native of Owo.

The couple moved to the UK in 1962; where Felicia continued her nursing career and obtained her first certificate in RMNS Nursing in 1967 at St. EBBAS Hospital in Epsom.  In 1971, Felicia returned to Nigeria and joined the Nigerian Army as a nurse at Greek Hospital, Victoria Island and worked at several other Nigerian military hospitals. Felicia specialized as a psychiatric nurse and worked in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Ebute-Metta in Lagos state and finally Yaba Military Hospital where she voluntarily retired from the Army in 1991.  She later returned to the UK and continued her nursing profession.

Felicia Elebiola is survived by two sisters Malomo Ogunduyilemi and Abimbola Fawehinm; Two sons, Benson Abayomi and John Kayode Elebiola; five grandchildren Lamide, Jordan, Tobi Brendan, Elizabeth Elebiola, and several nephews and nieces.  She also had two late brothers, Jide Adewole and Afolabi Adewole.

Felicia Elebiola was very family orientated; she loved all her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She looked forward to family gatherings, especially her birthdays, where her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews would attend with their families to celebrate with her. In addition, she had many friends whose company she enjoyed and who were always there for her.
