Mama, after your departure, I still make for your room as if to greet you, but each time, I suddenly realized that you are gone to where Baba went in January, 1982 for good.

Mama, I thank God for your life and I specially appreciate God for allowing me to see you a day before you passed on. We prayed the sinners' prayer which you repeated after me and said amen after which I kissed you twice and told you that you were going to be alright. Yes, you are alright now with Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I will miss you my mother. Esun re o Felicia Iya mi owon.
